Ok, so maybe this page should be titled “Contact Me”. I’m Mike Cousins, and I am Epic Duck Studios – at least for now! If you’re interested in hiring me to do some miniature painting for you, please keep the following in mind:
- Check ‘Commission Status’ on the right side of this page. If I’m too busy, I simply won’t be accepting commissions. It’s not fair to you if I accept one, and then take an unreasonable amount of time to finish it.
- I have the right to refuse work. If for any reason I feel I can’t take on your commission, I’ll let you know ahead of time.
- I have the right to request a deposit before starting work. This may be up to 50% of the final price plus the cost of materials.
You’ll receive photographs of your finished models before I ship them out, in case there are any last-minute changes you’d like done, or places where my creative license and your vision didn’t exactly sync up.
I reserve the right to include photos of my work in my galleries, to showcase my efforts for other clients. That said, I know that some commissions will be gifts for other people – in these cases, I won’t add the photos to my gallery or display any Work-In-Progress on my blog until you’ve given the gift – I don’t want to spoil the surprise!

Once we’ve determined the models you want painted, and the level of detail you’re looking for, I’ll provide you with a price for the job. I currently accept payment via Paypal, but I’m willing to make other arrangements if necessary.
