Academy-Set-Medium

MiniWarGaming’s Painting Academy 5 DVD set has just been released! These DVDs contain over 5 hours of detailing painting instruction from yours truly, and narrated by MiniWarGaming co-owner Matthew Glanfield. The techniques shown have been proven in a classroom setting to noticably increase the quality of your painting.

On a side note, now that I’m done helping MiniWarGaming with their DVD production, life will return to normal at Epic Duck Studios and the commissions will start flowing again. I’d like to thank everyone for their patience over the last few weeks – it’s been a struggle balancing commission painting, email, and video production, and a few people have suffered for it. To all of my loyal customers who’ve stood by me these last weeks, thank you.

New Release: Scenic Bases!

Posted on August 4th, 2009 Mike 4 comments

We’ve been busy at Epic Duck Studios lately, sculpting, molding, and casting, and after a few weeks of turmoil and triumph, we’re proud to announce our first official release!

Series 1: Rough Terrain - 25mm Round

The launch of our new Scenic Base line begins with 25mm Round “Rough Terrain” bases. These bases are suitable for most Warhammer 40K Infantry, as well as other similarly scaled wargames.

Currently, our products are exclusively available from MiniWarGaming.com’s Online Store.

We’ll be following these up in the near future with other offerings, including Tech, Ruin, and Slate bases. As time progresses, we’ll also branch into other gaming systems offering 20mm Square and 30mm Round bases, among others.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. If there is a specific style of base you’d like to see created, feel free to post a comment here!
