Professional Warhammer and Miniature Painting

I’ve just completed this Epic Lich Lord Asphyxious for MiniWarGamer Dave’s new Cryx army. We wanted to deviate from the typical Lich Lord appearance while still staying with the Cryx look and feel. Ultimately, I did this by painting his hands and chest as bone, adding roughly 50 freehand runes to his garment, and giving parts of Daemortus a fleshier appearance. The 5 souls that typically surround the Epic Lich Lord were intentionally left off the model, as it was felt they’d break easily during gameplay.
